About the renting,

I know specialized has a demo program. I never try it, but I think you can go to a specialized dealer and ask for a demo. It's not free. Someone told me that's 10$.

Call this shop, they are a authorized specialized dealer

I've called ABC cycle, it's 50$ for 3 days. And the fees are redeemable if you purchase a bike.

They don't have all model and all sizes though. The bike are in very good shape.
The guy told me tough that his demo bike are for people who intend to try a bike and purchase one. Not really for renting.

I went to Mont Tremblant today, rented a bike and rode for 4 hours. It probably takes some local knowledge to get the most out of the trail system but I did manage to find some very good singletrack. Awesome weather too. So I had a great day, will definitely be back for more.

Not sure yet about Bromont this Saturday, also the weather forecast isn't too inspiring... and I didn't bring any rain gear

Bonjour, I'll be staying with my girlfriend in Montreal again, this time a little bit longer, from September 12th to November 20th! I'm also bringing my own bike this time, a Santa Cruz Blur XC.

We don't have a car so I am very interested in carpooling! If any of you guys have riding plans for the next weeks, and have a place in the car for one guy and one bike, let me know. Will pay for gas etc. of course.

Also, I've seen a guy on a mountain bike riding the trails in Parc Mont Royal once... how (il)legal is this? Could be a nice short ride from home.
