P'tite virée au pays de la tourtière

Makie et moi, comme vacances d'été, avons décidé de partir faire le tour du lac St-jean en vélo. Notre idée de départ était de le faire en 3 jours en passant nos nuits dans des gîtes.

19 au 22 août 2006

Après 5 heures et demi de route, nous sommes arrivés en après-midi à Alma pour y stationner la voiture. Installation des valises sur le vélo et direction Péribonka pour une distance de 52 km. Notre deuxième journée comptait 94 km et nous mena à St-Félicien. Nous avons profité de notre troisième journée pour faire la visite du zoo. Suite à cela, nous avons finalement allongé notre voyage d'une nuit en restant à St-Gédéon après 94 km. Nous avons bouclé la boucle le quatrième matin en routant 28 km jusqu'à notre point de départ, ce qui nous donne un total de 268 km. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir du beau temps pour l'ensemble de notre périple. Le lac était très beau et de longues distances cyclables le longeaient. Nous avons peu de photos lors de nos déplacements mais nous gardons beaucoup de beaux paysages en souvenirs

Les pistes cyclables de la véloroute des bleuets est majoritairement asphaltée. Lorsque nous roulions sur l'accotement, la voie désignée était assez large pour nous permettre de rouler côte à côte. Un service de navette est offert pour transporter les bagages pour chacun des arrêts (gîtes, hôtels, camping...) pour un petit montant par personne.
