I went telemark skiing for the first time.

Hey everyone.
Well what can I say I have never been skiing in my life.
Never tried snowboarding, alpine skiing, cross country skiing….NOTHING
So I figured I should start.

Almost all of my friends are into telemark skiing so I figure I would learn how to do that.
Basically a telemark ski is a free heel binding on a special kind of backcountry ski.

Anyways it was awesome I’m hooked... the scariest part was coming of the chair lift for the first time.

Où es-tu allé? J'ai pris le cours d'initiation offert par le Yéti l'an dernier et c'était à St-Sauveur. Non seulement il fallait apprendre une nouvelle technique mais en plus il fallait faire attention aux idiots de snowboarders qui dévalent les pentes à toute allure en pensant que tu es en contrôle alors que ce n'est pas le cas puisque l'on commence! Donc mon expérience n'a pas été tellement positive. Je commençais à prendre le beat quand ces jeunes cons arrivaient et passaient de chaque côté alors j'arrêtais pour les laisser passer et ensuite pour continuer de pratiquer les mouvements.

yeah i went to St-Sauveur with the yeti.
it was so cool.
i think i am going to go back next wednesday.
