Be sure to inspect carefully the swingarm on it, mainly around the yoke area. The 2002 model was subject to cracking there. All those who failed were replaced under warranty by the generic swingarm model, which is black and much stronger than the original at the cost of a few extra ounces.
Also check the headtube for ovalization. Some younger and smaller riders bought this bike but used it for hucking hteir small meat on it, potentially leading to ovalized headtubes.
Other than that, it's a good bet. It makes a great trailbike offering a good compromise between light and strong.
If you can finally buy it, consider upgrading your rear shock to something like the RP3 or a revalve by Push Industries if you're not too fond of messing around with the lockout.
